Set atop a gentle hill on a private 13-acre property, the Rustic Treehouse Hideaway offers complete privacy with no visible neighbors. Guests enjoy full access to peaceful forest trails—perfect for walking, snowshoeing, or winter sliding, depending on the season.
🏡 Thoughtfully Designed Treehouse
This cozy, open-concept treehouse features approximately 200 square feet of beautifully curated space. Designed for comfort and simplicity, it comfortably accommodates up to four guests (two adults and two children), with a double futon and two charming loft sleeping spaces accessed by ladder—adding to the treehouse’s authentic, elevated design. Heated with an electric panel heater on the upper level and propane heater on the lower level, the space remains warm and inviting year-round. The treehouse features multiple access points, including an interior ladder access between levels via a floor trapdoor. Loft sleeping areas and trap door access are best suited for children or agile adults who are comfortable climbing a ladder, adding to the authentic treehouse experience.
☕ Elevated Comforts
Guests will find a self serve coffee, and breakfast bar including tea, cereals and oatmeal along with a compact kitchen area equipped with a kettle, toaster, coffee press, hot plate, and small refrigerator. A barbecue on the private deck provides an additional outdoor cooking option. Cookware, dishes, utensils, and fresh linens are thoughtfully provided.
🚿 Private Bathroom Amenities
A newly built detached outhouse is located just steps from the treehouse. For added comfort, a private lower-level bathroom includes a composting toilet, sink, and seasonal shower (available spring through early fall).
🔌 Modern Conveniences
Limited electricity allows for essential comforts, with mindful usage encouraged. A television and DVD player with a curated selection of films is available for cozy evenings. While Wi-Fi is intentionally absent, reliable cell service allows guests to stay connected if needed—or fully unplug.
📍 Close to It All—Yet Worlds Away
Conveniently located just 15 minutes from North Bay and 7 minutes from Callander, guests are minutes from Lake Nipissing, Lake Nosbonsing, public snowmobile trails, a local convenience store, and the LCBO.
🚶 Arrival Experience
Guests park at the main house and enjoy a scenic five-minute walk along groomed trails leading to the treehouse. Assistance with transporting belongings can be arranged upon request.

Your hosts live on site and are available from 7:30 am to 7:30 pm, with emergency assistance always accessible.
